About ‘Lost in the ancient city of Lijiang (China).’ by Claudio Duarte
Lijiang is a maze of streets, ramshackle old wooden buildings, bridges and flowing canals. It makes it one of the most visited cities in northern Yunnan. Lijiang is similar to Sūzhōu because of its canals. Both cities are also called the Venice of Asia. Since 1997 this beautiful village is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
