About the artwork

This illustration shows an intimate and dreamy scene of a boy completely absorbed in his book. Sitting in a classic armchair, placed in the middle of a lush garden full of blooming flowers, he exudes a serene calm. The soft summer colours - the green of the leaves, the orange and white of the flowers, the blue of the sky - reinforce the feeling of a warm and carefree day. The light falls filtered through the trees, giving the scene an almost timeless, fairytale feel.

The boy himself is focused and calm, as if completely absorbed in the world unfolding between the pages. His simple clothes - an orange shirt and jeans - make him recognisable and mundane, while the surroundings seem almost magical. The chair, stately and homely at the same time, is a striking contrast to the wild nature around him and emphasises the special setting: a place where fantasy and reality meet.

The whole thing exudes an atmosphere of childlike wonder, summer silence and the enchantment of reading in nature. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
