The layering technique blends the elements to suggest that the castle and landscape are extensions of the woman's emotional state. This can symbolise an inner realm, a fertile imagination or a psychological burden linked to a personal history.
This work can be seen as a visual metaphor for an internal conflict, where the outside world (the castle and nature) is a mirror of the soul. It explores themes such as memory, solitude and identity. The woman embodies a modern knightly figure, undergoing emotional challenges in a dreamlike, medieval landscape.
