About the artwork

In this picture, you can see the impressive scenery of a long-abandoned cinema. The once wine-red cinema seats are marked by time - the fabric is torn and covered in moss, grass is growing between the rows of seats and delicate plants are making their way through the floor. Soft, oblique light falls into the room through a gap in the ceiling, immersing the transience of the setting in an almost poetic mood. The contrast between the decay and the new life that spreads here tells a story without words.

Inspiration: I love the charm of lost places - places that have lost their original function and have taken on new forms. The idea for this work was born at the sight of an old light theatre that had been reclaimed by nature. It is a reminder that nothing is eternal - and yet there is a beginning in every end.

This motif is perfect for people who appreciate the mysterious and at the same time calming. It works particularly well in a living room with industrial elements, in a lounge, a creative studio or as an eye-catcher in a modern hallway. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
