The Los Angeles skyline, as seen from Lincoln Heights. For work I had to go to this impressive city and, as always, I take my photography equipment with me. Beforehand, I had several photo spots in mind including this spot.
I had been here several times to photograph but not yet in the dark. You can see the results here :

This time I went out before dawn. From my hotel, it was half an hour's drive which is quite fast by L.A. standards. Traffic during the day is often a drama but at 4am it is quite manageable.
Once we arrived, it was a 5-minute walk from the parking lot. The location is in a very quiet part of a residential area and the sound of an owl could be heard in the background. Meanwhile, I had started setting up my tripod and my camera was set and the shooting could begin. After a few shots, I was done here and it was already starting to get a little light, time to move on.
The shots I take on the road, I always edit at home from behind my desk. There I put the necessary time into post-processing to make the shots suitable for your wall.
