The impressive Los Angeles skyline, captured from one of the hills surrounding the city. For work, I got the chance to travel here, and of course my camera equipment went with me. I made full use of the three days I had free here to take pictures of this fascinating city.
As always, I hired a car, as the distances here are simply too great to cover by public transport. The downside is the traffic - traffic jams really are a daily occurrence here.
In advance, I had picked a few locations that promised nice views of the skyline. One spot I had not visited during previous visits, and now it was time to tick it off. Once I arrived, I had to climb up a bit, which was an adventure in itself. It was still dark, and there was no clear path leading up. With some perseverance, I was at the top within 15 minutes, ready to take in the view.
After I had everything set up and adjusted, the shooting began. After an hour, I had captured enough images and it was time to think about a well-deserved breakfast.
As always, I continue working on my recordings at home at my desk. There, I have a powerful PC and the necessary photo editing software, so the images are perfect to hang on your wall.
