This day's walk through Rotterdam began at Central Station.
An extraordinary neighbourhood full of buildings that seem to be mainly made of glass, concrete and steel. Straight lines make quite a spectacle of them, by varying the angle at which they stand and the materials and colours used.
In the street named Weena, there is a building called Delfse Poort. At its's most beautiful when under a few pillars, I look at the sky through the viewfinder.
The blue sky full of clouds reflects in various materials. Quite a contrast between the natural and what has been conceived by architects.
Hans de Waay - enjoying landscapes & the city
Landscapes are beautiful to hang on the wall. You get out. Lovely to look at and dream away.
I try to capture the most beautiful moments. Often on the edges of the day. In the morning or in the middle of the night.
Thank..
