About ‘Look mommy!’ by Egbert de Ruiter

I took this photo on the Park Bridge in Antwerp. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. This created and harsh contrasts. The sun made the metal surfaces sparkle. This ordinary picture of a little boy trying to show his mother something becomes a bit spacy in this context.
I had been photographing on the bridge for quite some time. Already made a few nice pictures. When I saw this mother and child walking to the side I dove into the corner and from a very low position made this one. You can see the play of light across the ground because of this.

The mood this evokes for me is the endearing child in the hard steel structure of the bridge. With my 24 lens, the lines in the "roof" of the bridge also come out nicely and the depth is created .

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
