The platform is pretty much empty at first. This is a simple train station. Quite bare, fairly dull and open to all sides. The tracks running along it are curved. The platforms make long gentle curves. I stand at an outer curve along the edge of the platform and see and hear a train approaching. A heavy no-nonsense locomotive comes into view. A steel rectangular box with two lights on it, behind it another such'dark block with long ventilation slots, apparently also pulling a series of heavy closed wagons. The queue is endless. The speed is not even that great, but because I am standing quite close to the edge of the platform, the first wagons fade away as I take the picture. As a result, you can also clearly see that the queue is not standing still but passing by. The huge perspective of the train in the curve, small in the distance and very large up close, gives a great dynamic to the photo. Graffiti and tags have been put on some wagons, like the one in front. They are wagons for bulk goods, dry granular loads. From above, they are open. Such a long heavy train is on its way to a port or an industrial area. From that journey, I picked one moment.
