In this work, a single tree - stately but not proud - is caught in a haze of mist. Her silhouette is gently faded: the branches seem caught between visibility and disappearance, while the mist envelops her like a filigree veil. The background is empty, grey and whispering, making the tree appear as a solitary apparition in a world in slumber.
The light is subtle and diffuse, without harsh shadows: it caresses the edges of branches, where the mist is thinner, and allows parts of the trunk to just become visible. Out of the mist loom veins, branches and branching - patches of structure against a monochrome void. The atmosphere is serene, melancholic, almost mystical - as if time and space have slowed down.
This work invites introspection: a moment of isolation, a reflection on silence, an encounter with the essential in the void. The tree stands there, without distraction, calling for breath, inner peace and attention to what remains when everything else fades away.
It accentuates emptiness and form, fog and structure in balance.
The solitude of the tree speaks to the heart - a visual metaphor for silence.
In a room, it brings calm, introspection and a contemplative atmosphere.
