I came across this unusual oncoming vehicle while walking in this foggy landscape. Fortunately, Scottish highlanders are friendly and I did not have to worry about my safety at all.

I waited for a while until she was exactly in the right place so I could shoot this perfect image. The colours are dark and moody and the highlander stands out so much more with her warm orange colours. And the mist gives the image a calm atmosphere. A minimalist photo where your eye is immediately drawn to the subject.

Scottish highlanders are so beloved by photographers and artists because they look impressive and unique. With their long horns, thick shaggy fur and often majestic appearance, they are perfect for photographing or painting. They exude strength and tranquillity, which makes them very attractive to capture.
