The history of the famous Leadenhall Market in London dates back to the 14th century. It was once a traditional market for wool, cheese and leather and is now home to bars, restaurants and various delicatessens, among other things.
It was last extensively restored in 1991 and is now a magnet for tourists and Harry Potter fans.
This is because the scenes in Diagon Alley were filmed here.
In Victorian style with its dome made of cast iron and glass, the building impresses with numerous beautiful details, the old clock, the columns, the dragon figures and much more.
A magical place in the centre of London.
In the picture you can see the exit into the "paler facades" of the city and can sense the contrast. The detail shows part of the dome, the lamps, the antique clock and partial facades of two bars.
Almost like a fairy tale with its beautiful colours and numerous details, this architectural masterpiece invites you to linger.
