About ‘Lockdown Herestraat Groningen All (empty)’ by Evert Jan Luchies
A completely deserted Herestraat in the city centre of Groningen at the end of a sunny Spring day during the first COVID lockdown in April 2020. The Herestraat is the busiest shopping street in the city of Groningen. The title Herestraat Helemaal refers to the name of an interview programme on local television RTV Noord.

1968. Lives on the edge of the most beautiful city in the Netherlands. Works at the limits of knowing. Photographs regularly since 2000, preferably with a tripod and seas of time. Makes 1000 photos to delete 950 photos. Camping, under the motto of "a holiday without sea and beach, is not a holiday". Drives alternately Volvo and Saab, in the colour black, just like I drink my coffee. Former Canon adept.
