About the artwork

In this cheerful watercolour painting, we see a child dressed as a fireman/firewoman, diligently spraying water towards a burning house. The warm tones of red, yellow and orange contrast beautifully with the fresh green of the grass and the clear blue of the sky and water.
Nice details, such as the large red fireman's helmet, the yellow stripes on the jacket and the playful curl in the garden hose, make the scene lively and recognisable.

The mood is cheerful and adventurous, with a nod to the fantasy world of children taking on heroic roles in their play. This work has a warm, playful feel and is perfect for a baby's room, toddler's room or playroom.

This painting is part of a series of three about dress-up clothes and children's play. The other two are 'Knight on horseback' and 'The plush animal doctor'.
As a former teacher of small children, I have always enjoyed their rich imaginations. This mini-series was born out of that love, where my creativity and AI came together to create these charming works.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
