About "Line on the Horizon"

About the artwork

Line on the Horizon captures the moment when silence and space merge. The work is composed of two dominant areas of colour: a soft, sandy ground and a deep turquoise sky above it. In between is a thin, dark line - subtle but powerful - that acts as both boundary and connection at the same time. That line marks the field of tension between earth and sky, between presence and infinity.

The painting exudes a sense of calm and contemplation. The texture of the surface is minimal but meaningful: small imperfections, smudges and shadows suggest movement within the stillness. A thin vertical line seems to rise in the distance, an anchor point for the gaze - fragile, almost disappearing, yet steadfast.

The use of colour evokes associations with landscapes, seascapes or memories of distant horizons, without ever becoming literal. Line on the Horizon is not about what you see, but about what you feel when you look: space, balance, stillness.

The work is an ode to simplicity - to the moment when colour and form do not describe, but exist.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
