Lightrails of the night sky is fun to make, only it takes some time and a large amount of shots. This is the Gere Mill - the Blauwe Wip near Hazerswoude-Dorp. In this picture, I worked out a composition to place the Pole Star, which is exactly in the north, exactly in the middle above the mill. And then set the number of shots and the exposure time and pause between shots. For this picture I took about 50 shots of 20 secs, this ended up being +/- 25 minutes.

This is my motto when I go out to photograph,  and in landscape photography,  this is so very possible.
Living in Alphen aan den Rijn means I have a nice base of operations for countless locations,  but I push my boundaries..
