About ‘Lighthouse Lange Jaap - Den Helder’ by Bertil van Beek

He's actually called the Lighthouse Kijkduin, but everyone knows him as Lange Jaap. The bright red lighthouse on the Marsdiep is 56 meters high and lies just behind the dike. Not only a beacon for ships, but also for the inhabitants of Den Helder.
