About ‘Lighthouse De Ven, Enkhuizen e.o.’ by Digital Art Nederland
De Ven, is a white square brick lighthouse on the IJsselmeerdijk near the village of Oosterdijk about four kilometres north of Enkhuizen. The tower was built in 1699-1700 and is therefore one of the oldest lighthouses in the Netherlands. The tower is 15 metres high and the light height is 17 metres.
