About "Life in a tree"

About the artwork

The 'Mintered Garden' is located in the southern part of the English island. When I captured this enchanting landscape in sketches directly on location in past years, I was able to discover the richness of the English landscape unadulterated. This painting in the small format of 30 × 30 cm is, among other paintings, a result of this journey and was created in my studio.

The platform with the four people on it, looking down curiously and enthusiastically at the pond, is particularly striking. The people are depicted small in relation to nature, almost like dwarves. With this I want to illustrate the relationship of man to nature. The power and size of nature are, if we classify them correctly, gigantic for us humans.

The painting was created from a photo taken in this garden. It shows a pond, a natural meadow in the foreground and trees in the background. This painting captures the splendour and fascination of nature, and the small figures on the platform remind us how tiny we are compared to the overwhelming beauty of nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
