The Liesbos is located nearPrinsenbeek, Breda, the Netherlands.
The name Liesbos comes from the hamlet of Lies that lies here. In 1200 the area was described as the estate of Hage and Lies. A heron colony has been established here since the Middle Ages.

In the Liesbos there is a special place that is said to date back to Celtic times. This place is called 'the circle' or 'the heavens'.
