Les Braves is a monument paying tribute to the Allies who landed on Omaha Beach on 6 June 1944 and consists of three elements:
The wings of Hope: So that the spirit these men carried continues to inspire us and remind us that together it is possible to change the future.
Stand Up, Freedom: So that the example of those who stood up against barbarism helps us to continue to stand strong against all forms of inhumanity.
The Wings of Brotherhood: So that this wave of brotherhood always reminds us of our responsibility to others as well as ourselves.
On 6 June 1944, these men were more than soldiers, they were our brothers.
