About ‘Leliedwarsstraat Amsterdam’ by Peter Bartelings

This work shows the Leliedwarsstraat in the heart of the Jordaan in Amsterdam. On the left in the foreground is a modest bell-gabled house, on the right in front a somewhat larger building with a different shaped bell gable. In the background, the Westerkerktoren-also known as the Ouwe Wester-rises above everything else. The choppy sky betrays that it is autumn in Amsterdam, and the shiny street is wet from the rainstorm that has just passed.
The photo was taken on a rainy Sunday morning in November 2022.
There is a version in both color and black and white.

About the image maker Peter Bartelings: As a born and raised Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection to the city of Amsterdam. Over the years he has produced many works, not only of Amsterdam, but also other cities at home and abroad fill his portfolio. Landscape and macro photography are also part of his work.
As a digital artist he has also earned his spurs, especially with adaptations of old masters.

His work is sold in the Netherlands and abroad and hangs on the walls of buyers in Belgium and Germany.
