Beautiful combination of patches of fog and a rising sun with the famous Molendriegang near Leidschendam. In the 17th century, seven mills were built in Stompwijk near Leidschendam to drain the surrounding polders. The northernmost trigang, consisting of three octagonal mills, was preserved and was in full operation until 1951. Today, these permanently occupied mills serve as reserve drainage for the Nieuwe Driemanspolder.
