About "Leeuwarden canal with church"

About the artwork

St Boniface Church in Leeuwarden was built in 1882/84. The basic shape of the church is a cross. It was and is a Catholic church. The church is dedicated to Saint Boniface. It has become a well-known saying in Leeuwarden that tall trees catch a lot of wind, and that certainly applies to tall towers as well. During a hurricane storm on 3 January 1976, the tower blew off the church. After a period of fundraising, the spire was rebuilt. In 1980, the spire was put back on top of the tower. From this vantage point, the tower can be seen beautifully in the reflection of the canal which presents a city-like image. What makes this work special in an interior is that it has a dramatic atmosphere which corresponds well to the history of the church. This artwork fits nicely into a rural or industrial home or office interior.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
