Walk around the town along the Lech, cross the bridge and continue along the road. Then you will reach the Lech waterfall, or Lechfall.
A weir was built here as early as 1787 to make use of hydropower. In five steps, the water falls 12 metres down here, an impressive sight.
On the Maxsteg footbridge you have the best view of the waterfall. Here you can also admire a bust of the bridge's namesake, King Maximilian II.
