About "Late summer whispers - hydrangea 3"

About the artwork

The flowers still speak softly as summer fades away. The series 'Indian summer whispers' is about the beauty of impermanence.

This work shows a hydrangea whose petals have turned into a fragile network of veins. The soft shades of yellow and brown give the work a subdued, almost dreamy look.

What touches me in this is how the hydrangea still possesses so much beauty at this stage. The bright pink or blue is gone, but the warm golden-yellow tones bring a new, calm splendour. It feels like a flower embracing autumn with dignity.

The image exudes calm and stillness, a gentle farewell to summer. For me, this work is about the beauty of letting go, about the stillness that comes after bloom and colour. It is an invitation to turn inwards and appreciate the details that often escape our notice.

By directly scanning the flower itself, the textures and subtle hues are enhanced. You can see how the veins and drying of the petals form an almost painterly pattern.

The warm yellow and brown tones make this work great for adding a soft, natural feel to a room. It pairs beautifully with wood, earthy tones and warm interiors, bringing a touch of late summer sunshine into the home.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
