Typical landscape in the rough nature of the islands of Lofoten in Norway / Scandinavia. The surf fills the small tide pools again and again with fresh sea water. Sometimes you can find small crabs in them. In winter these usually freeze over as you can see on the picture. Often different kinds of plants and small creatures are enclosed. The picture was taken on a rough day with stormy wind and moving clouds at sunset at Hennigsvaer. In the background you can see the lighthouse with its little lighthouse keeper's house.
