Sunrise in Corrèze in France. A place where I have taken many landscape photos's. I know the place inside out. Under all conditions.
In the valley there is almost always 's a thick layer of mist/mist in the morning. One thing is certain. Every morning the conditions are different. What I feel, think and see determine how I will take the picture.
This morning produced this photo. The sky that is blue but increasingly drowned out by the warm rising sun turning the must more and more orange.
The techniques used all come from the camera. The amount of colour, contrasts, piercing blacks and the soft atmosphere of the mist are choices I make on the spot. No post-processing takes place afterwards. What you see is what I saw during class time or as I applied my interpretation to it.
A photographer for 42 years. From analogue to digital. A real old-fashioned photographer. Everything you see and buy is real. I don't do post-processing because I can really photograph and don't need post-processing because I have total control over technique and my cameras. That is a very big difference.
