About the artwork

Early in the morning, I stood on the shores of Lake Bled in Slovenia, a place known as one of the most photogenic lakes in Europe. Using a long shutter speed, I captured this image, giving the lake's water an almost mirror-like texture. The result is a serene and timeless scene: the iconic island with the Church of the Assumption of Mary framed by the gentle contours of the Julian Alps.

What fascinated me most was the stillness of that moment. The first rays of sunlight fell over the roofs of the church, while the mountains were still shrouded in a cool glow. The long shutter speed reinforced this sense of calm, as if time was stopped for a moment. The reflection in the water made the scene even more dreamy and minimalist.

This work brings a sense of balance and serenity to the home. In a bright living room or bedroom, it has a calming effect, while in an office or meditation corner it can be inspiring. It is a picture that takes you to a hushed moment, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
