About the artwork

This mesmerising drone shot offers a unique perspective of the lagoon at Jan Thiel, one of Curaçao's most special natural areas. In the image, different landscapes come together harmoniously: the shimmering turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, a sheltered lagoon with still, mirror-like water and vast areas of natural vegetation. Between the salt and fresh water grows a network of mangroves that act as the green lungs of the area. Their jagged root structures form an intriguing pattern from the air and provide shelter for countless birds, fish and other animals. The coastline looks pristine, with scrub and dry tropical forest characteristic of the island. This part of Jan Thiel shows a rare, peaceful side of Curaçao: a place where nature takes precedence over development and where the ecosystem has largely remained in its original state.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
