In the north-east of Italy, near the border with Slovenia and Austria, you will find the Fusine Lakes. These are surrounded by green forests and high mountains and are a popular destination in the summer months.
The water in this lake is crystal-clear and turquoise blue and perfect for rowing boats. These can be hired from the restaurant, which is located on the shore here. In the background, you can see some rowboats on the lake!!!
In the foreground of this image, you can see the shore of this lake. By using a polarising filter, you look through the surface of the water and see all the details. In the centre, you see the blue waters of Laghi di Fusine, which is the first lake you see, when visiting this area. The sunlight on the water, enhances this colour!!! The background consists of a forest of pine trees, which are a beautiful fresh green in summer. The mountains in the background, are the Kotova Spica and the Mangart. These form the border between Slovenia and Italy.
