About ‘Lady Amherst Pheasant’ by Iris Boersma

The Lady Amherst’s Pheasant looks as though it has stepped straight out of a fairytale. Its long, gracefully curved tail feathers with striking black-and-white patterns resemble a costume designed for a royal masquerade. The shimmering green plumage on its back contrasts beautifully with the bold red crest on its rump. What makes this bird truly unique is the harmony between playful colors and almost graphic patterns. In this artwork, the pheasant is captured as a living masterpiece – a blend of exotic beauty and refined detail that reveals something new with every glance.

The Lady Amherst’s Pheasant evokes a sense of mystery and elegance. The rhythmic feather patterns appear almost graphic and contemporary, while the long, graceful tail feathers add a sense of movement and poise. It felt like having a living artwork before me, and I wanted to capture that experience: a harmony of nature, refinement, and surprise that is usually hidden in distant lands.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
