About ‘Lace-up boots with attitude’ by Rüdiger Lutz

In this black-and-white photograph, heavy lace-up boots take centre stage. The viewer’s gaze is drawn closely to the leather, the open eyelets, the loosely tied laces and the sturdy treaded soles. Only a partial view of the person is visible, yet it is precisely this that creates a strong presence: here, attitude is conveyed not through a face, but through posture, material and body language.

What fascinates me about this image is the blend of strength and imperfection. The boots appear robust, almost defiant; at the same time, small signs of wear, edges and glints of light reveal that they are not merely objects, but companions. Particularly intriguing are the details that only become apparent upon closer inspection: the loose lace, the metal eyelets, the texture of the sole and the light-coloured fabric against the dark leather.

The atmosphere is crisp, urban and self-assured. This work speaks of steadfastness, movement and a certain ruggedness. In an interior setting, it serves as a striking black-and-white accent — well-suited to spaces intended to convey character, contrast and a direct, modern visual language.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
