About ‘La dolce Vita - Lago Orta’ by Frens van der Sluis

La dolce vita is often mentioned in the same breath with Italy. Not surprising of course, besides all the delicious food, beautiful landscapes, you will find places like this.

This medieval village of Orta is perhaps one of the (unknown) most beautiful pearls of northern Italy. Orta San Giulio, on a peninsula in Lago d'Orta, is a picturesquely beautiful town.

This vista casts a view of the rooftops of Orta San Giulio with the island of Isola San Giulio in the background.

Who knows, maybe this photo will bring to you the atmosphere and experience of your vacation at lago maggiore or orta lake.
