About "La Vita è Bella (Special Edition - 10 years of Werk aan de Muur))"

About the artwork

When Werk aan de Muur asked me to create a work especially for their 10th anniversary, I thought it was a real honor. I wanted to reflect the feeling I have when working with them as best as I could, and that is the feeling of many possibilities, of puzzle pieces that have fallen together, of being seen better, of "new beginnings" (spring) , of prosperity and of being happy.

While painting this work, the pandemic ended and the war began. It was bizarre. The joy took on a dark edge.

However, the feeling of still wanting to show something beautiful always remains. No matter how bad everything is, it is always nice to experience beauty. Especially then, actually.

The title became " La Vita è Bella " after the famous film with this theme.

My drive to create something beautiful, something real, only increases.

I hope this painting will also make you happy, touch you, inspire you.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
