The Kleine Vleeshal is a 15th-century building of the former butchers' guild in Utrecht. It was in use as a public slaughterhouse and as a sales location for meat products. St Catherine's Cathedral, better known as the Catharijnekerk, is used as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Utrecht. It was built between 1470 and 1551. In 1900, the nave was extended by one bay to the west. The new west section received a 53-metre tower inspired by that of the town hall in Kampen. This photo was taken at dusk on 5 August 2013.
