About ‘Kingfisher From The Water: Spectacular Catch’ by Thijs Schouten

During a quiet morning at my observation hut, I was lucky enough to see a spectacular kingfisher emerge from the water. The bird, with its vibrant blue and orange feathers, shot up with a fish firmly in its beak. The timing was perfect; water droplets leapt from its wings as it triumphantly left the water. It was a moment of pure beauty and power, and I felt a tremendous excitement as I printed my camera at exactly the right moment.

I would love to have this photo hanging on my wall because it reminds me of the dynamism and energy of nature. Every time I look at this shot, I feel the adrenaline of that moment and admiration for the kingfisher's precision and speed. It is more than just a beautiful image; it is a reminder of the unpredictable and impressive moments nature offers us. This picture brings a piece of that vibrant energy into my home and inspires me daily to be alert and ready to capture the wonders around us.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
