KLM Boeing 777-200 "Albert Plesman" (PH-BQA).

The PH-BQA photographed just before landing on the Zwanenburg runway.

Albert Plesman, born in The Hague on September 7, 1889 was a Dutch aviation pioneer and the first president and CEO of KLM.

Plesman was co-organizer of the First Air Traffic Exhibition Amsterdam, which was held from August 1 to September 14, 1919. Exhibition halls had been built for the occasion, which were put into use by Anthony Fokker after the event, for his newly established Nederlandsche Vliegtuigenfabriek, later Fokker, in Amsterdam-North.

All these activities led on 7 October 1919 to the establishment of the N.V. Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij voor Nederland en Koloniën (KLM), of which Plesman became first administrator and later director. After World War II, Plesman was appointed president and CEO of KLM. After recovering from the damage caused by the war, the company became an airline of great stature under his leadership.

Plesman died in 1953 in his hometown.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
