About "KLM Boeing 747-400, PH BFD. City of Dubai,"

About the artwork

For many years, the Boeing 747 was the flagship of two Dutch airlines, KLM and Martinair. Martinair Cargo, which is part of the KLM group, operates flights with the last four 747's that still have Schiphol as their home base. Martinair Cargo leases three Jumbo's from KLM for this purpose, the fourth is owned.
When the corona pandemic broke out, KLM, like many other airlines, said an accelerated farewell to its last 747's for passenger transport with the retirement of its last seven aircraft in March 2020. However, three of these were subsequently still used exclusively for cargo transport for seven months, these were the "Combi's" PH-BFT (Tokyo), PH-BFV (Vancouver) and PH-BFW (Shanghai). On 25 October 2020, the last flights were operated by PH-BFV and PH-BFW

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
