Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Jumping whale in Hermanus South Africa’ by Thea.Photo

A beautiful moment photographed during sunrise in Hermanus, a coastal town in South Africa.

In the months of June through November, you can see whales from the coast here. I took this photo in September when I wanted to photograph the sunrise with the mountains. I was hoping to see whales, and I saw them, several in fact. Mostly whales with a little one. Wonderful to see these impressive animals in real life. When a young whale gave a jumping show, the picture was more than complete for me. A wonderful moment to see and photograph. If you look closely you can see that near the whale on the right side there is also a seagull flying. Special to see these animals together. I was able to admire and photograph several whales that day. You can find these pictures in my shop.
