About the artwork

Jordaan Egelantiergracht Amsterdam The Netherlands.
The Jordaan was a typical working-class neighbourhood, where many craftsmen and small businesses were located. The district came within the fortress of Amsterdam during the Third Extension in the first half of the 17th century. The urban structure of the district follows more or less the pattern of the polder landscape that was created around 1100. Before the construction of the Prinsengracht, the Keizersgracht and the Herengracht, this polder landscape was completely rearranged according to a pattern that curved in a half circle around the old city centre. As a result, the streets and canals of the working-class neighbourhood of the Jordaan are often angled towards the Prinsengracht and do not directly connect to the adjacent streets and bridges of the prosperous ring of canals.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
