About the artwork

At the edge of the Belterwijde, near Belt-Schutsloot, a wooden jetty stretches across the still water. The sun slowly sinks behind the horizon, painting the sky in warm shades of orange, pink and purple. The water reflects the soft colours, creating a dreamy, almost timeless scene where everything seems to fall silent.

The long exposure makes the water look silky soft and emphasises the tranquillity this moment exudes. The jetty naturally leads the eye to the light - an invitation to stand still for a moment, breathe and enjoy the simplicity of the landscape. It is the kind of evening when sounds quiet down and only the gentle lapping of water remains.

This photo captures the sense of space, silence and connection with nature that is so characteristic of Overijssel's watery landscape. An image that brings peace to any wall and reminds us of the beauty of the simple moments.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
