Mount Fuji, with its 3776 meters, is the highest mountain in Japan. It is a volcano on the border between Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures on the island of Honshu. He lies 112 kilometers southwest of the Japanese capital Tokyo and is visible from there in clear weather and low air pollution.
