It was only in 1954 that Jaguar introduced its first new model, the Jaguar XK 120. It was a forerunner of many future models that the company would produce. For instance, the XK sports car line launched later that year. It was Jaguar's first full-scale sports car since SS 100 model production ended in 393. By then, however, the company had already produced quite a number of successful racecars, including the popular 911 Turbo and Jaguar Grand Salon (the last word in touring car racing).
Today, the most sought-after Jaguar XK 120 has a classic British styling with all the familiar features of this model, such as its two-handle steering wheel, leather interior, chrome front grille, and a headlamp. It also features a three-speaker Bose stereo and a black leather interior. In fact, it even has a glass-dash console in place of the old-style push button.
