The church dedicated to Jacobus the Multiple in the village of Feerwerd in the province of Groningen was built at the beginning of the 13th century and was originally vaulted. The tombstone of the Small Borg resident Sicke Luersumma from 1493 is special, but the inhabitants of the Great Borg, the Aldringa's, have also left their traces in the church. For some years now, the Jacobus Church has been part of the national Rest Points Network. This makes the church an official place to rest or relax.
