Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Islands of colour on still water’ by May

A dark band at the top, with a deep blue gradient below. Oval islands of colour in orange, yellow and white float on top, some with small green pads. Fine, vertical lines look like stems or reflections in the water. On the right, a tall, warm block of orange sets the tone; horizontal brushstrokes and delicate lattice seams flash in the blue. The light-coloured surface at the bottom gives the motif plenty of space.
Orientation in the calm. Few, clear forms provide support; colour sets points of hope. A picture about balance and the power of clarity.
Evening ponds with water lilies and sketches of city lights reflected in the water. Natural surfaces and geometric order should visibly come together.
Cool and clear with a warm counterpoint. The blue calms, the orange invigorates - calm expanse with focussed energy.
