About "Iris - Sword lily"

About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of an iris flower with delicate purple petals. The fine veins and slightly wavy edges give the flower a complex structure. In the centre, a bright yellow-orange "beard" stands out - a characteristic feature of this type of iris that gives the image a natural focal point.

The inspiration for this work arose from the desire to visualise the graphic quality of this plant. The iris combines both symmetry and organic irregularity in its shape. I was particularly fascinated by the interplay of light and texture - how the surface of the petals changes in the diffuse daylight and gains depth.

With this picture I want to create a calm but focussed atmosphere. It invites you to focus on the details and discover the beauty in the structure. The message is simple: be mindful of what is often overlooked.

In interior design, this work acts as a calm but expressive accent. It fits particularly well in rooms with a clear design or natural materials, adding subtle colour and floral elegance.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
