Tjitske Sinke
Grijpskerke, Netherlands

After high school, she studies nursing and not long after, she and her husband leave for Africa where they stay in Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya.

During these years she developed an ever growing desire to draw and paint. First with watercolours and from the 1990s with oil on canvas and acrylics.

In her studio there is a printing press on which she mainly makes press prints.

She draws and paints everything she sees around her, still life, landscape,…
