About "In Murano Fashion"

About the artwork

A lady against a Murano technique called Millefiori, background. She is dressed in a coat with a typical Murano glass pattern. On her head, she wears a hat shaped like a lamp. Obviously a vintage Murano lamp.

I work in Photoshop. I mix my own photos's with existing (copyright-free) material and my own ideas. I leave existing material (paintings, drawings, litho's, etc.) in their original state as much as possible. Any imperfections therefore remain visible when I find it of added value.

Everyone looks at art in their own way. To influence this as little as possible, I leave to the viewer what his or her thoughts or feelings about it are. I don't want to steer emotions or preferences, for example; everyone is allowed to experience their own findings.

People are allowed to question my work. The answers lie with the viewers themselves. I want to give them the chance to give their own interpretation, to make the work their 'own' own. Of course, I also pay attention to aesthetics. After all, a work has to be decorative and/or attractive.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
