The magnificent summer palace in e capital Beijing ( Beijing ) is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of China's main attractions.

Located on the outskirts of the capital, this is where the imperial household stayed during the usually hot summers. Located on a large lake and away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city, the summer palace gave peace and coolness.

This shot was taken with willows in the foreground. This graces the photo and makes the composition balanced and complete.
